Peter’s Pies dances to the rock tune of Steelhouse with donation and fan prizes
Volunteers at the Steelhouse Rock Festival in Hafod-y-Dafal, Ebbw Vale will be kept well fed this year thanks to a donation from Peter’s Pies.
Over forty people will work for ten days to build and staff the fourth Welsh International Classic Rock Festival, which kicks off this Friday.
It is the UK’s highest outdoor festival.
Over 7,000 fans attended last year and more are expected this weekend when headliners Europe, Black Star Riders, Sebastian Bach and more take to the stage.
Peter’s is also giving Steelhouse goers the chance to win a bumper box of pastries at the event.
With six boxes up for grabs, rock fans just need to comment on the Peter’s Facebook posts, or tweet to say which rocker they’d love to share a pie with for the chance to win.
The competition closes on Wednesday with the winners announced on Thursday 17th July.
Peter’s Marketing Manager Claire Conway said: “We’re delighted to be able to support the Steelhouse Festival this year with pastries for volunteers and prizes for fans.
“It is an amazing event that creates an unforgettable experience for music fans across Gwent and beyond.”
Steelhouse Organiser Sally Ann Evans said: “We really appreciate the donation from Peter’s, and hope the social media winners enjoy their prizes as much as the fantastic acts we’ve got performing this year.”
