Our Story

From humble beginnings over 50 years ago, Peter’s has come a long way.

It all began back in the 1950’s with ‘Thomas Pies’, a small pie manufacturer in Merthyr Tydfil that provided highly sought after sausage rolls, pies and pasties to the valleys.

By 1976, we were able to move to our existing home in Caerphilly, just outside Cardiff, as ‘Peter’s’. Today, we are a household name and make over 3 million delicious pastries every week, which we deliver nationwide to a variety of customers including local shops, supermarkets and stadiums.

In addition to producing award winning pastries, sausages and saveloys, at Peter’s we have ten distribution centres around the country, supplying fast food outlets, fish bars, restaurants, cafes, sandwich shops, independent retailers, schools, hospitals and hotels with a range of over 900 product lines.

The business services 13,500 customers annually.
